So I personally hold the belief that no one really has the right to judge a book. Unless of course it is a good judgment. A book is like a vessel containing information, knowledge, understanding, the light of God, illumination, intellect. You can only take what you are capable of absorbing from it. If a book was not meant to be written for a reader who comes from a background like yours, or a past like yours, or with interests similar to yours etc, the book will not be able to give you that which it holds in between its covers. Every book is good. It is just not meant to be read by you or the place where you are at in your life at that point. That is what we should remember when writing a review and this was the reason why I have chosen never to write a review. Someone though, recently heard me say this and replied that if I chose not to write review because I felt incapable of judging them, maybe I should write good reviews or explain what I managed to take from the book.
So these reviews are just my opinions on a book. I am in no way judging a book. I’m just explaining what I’ve managed to grasp from the book and what I have not managed to absorb. Hence, the review will tell you more about me than about the book itself 🙂 Cheers!
